What makes it “agentic” rather than just AI?

An agent has a goal, breaks it into steps, uses tools to carry them out, and has a way to tell whether a step succeeded. Archiagent does all four: it sequences the work, operates on a real model, runs a 2D audit against clearances, and redoes what fails. A prompt-to-image tool has none of that — it produces one output and cannot tell whether it is any good.

Does it replace an architect?

No, and it is not sold as one. It does the drafting, the placement and the checking that eat the first days of a project, and it does them consistently. Code compliance, structure, services and sign-off remain the work of a qualified professional.

What does the self-audit actually check?

Door swings must be clear, walkways must hold their minimum width, and every fixture must keep its required clearance. It runs after every furnishing pass and draws violations in red on the 2D plan instead of hiding them in a log.

Can I intervene while it works?

Yes. You can stop it, change the brief, or edit any single thing in plain language, and it continues from the state you left rather than starting again.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

Usually the audit catches it first and it corrects itself. When it does not, you say what is wrong in a sentence and it applies that as an edit — your existing design stays intact.
